Agents
Which coding agents run the experiment.
agents defines which coding agents run the experiment. The model an agent runs comes from the models axis, not the agent.
Accepted shapes:
# String form: one agent.
agents: claude
# List of strings: multiple agents. Valid names: claude, codex, cursor, opencode, eve, pi.
agents:
- claude
- codex
- cursor
- opencode
# Object form: the name, plus `project` for eve.
agents:
- name: claude
- name: eve
project: agents/my-agentopencode runs the OpenCode CLI (registered version 2.0.22) and is available to
organizations where it is enabled.
eve runs your own agent built with eve instead of a coding CLI, and is available to
organizations where it is enabled. See Run your eve agent in AX.
pi runs the Pi coding agent (registered version 1.4.0). Pi has no plan
mode and no built-in web search.
The nested agents[].model key was removed. Put the model on the top-level
models axis instead. Authoring agents: [{ name: claude, model: … }]
fails ax experiment validate with a migration message.
